Quite suddenly Violet Maybury found herself at a magnificent mansion on Paradise Point, secretly engaged to handsome, aristocratic Brandon Purcell and working as secretary-companion to his great-aunt. Before marrying Violet, whose family was anything but rich, Brandon wanted her to win the approval of wealthy Aunt Sophie, who controlled the Purcell fortune.
