Nurse Whitney's Paradise

To escape from an unhappy romance, Nurse Whitney McCord flees from Chicago and accepts the position as nurse to a young baby on a small Hawaiian island. Her boss, Max Stanford, the baby’s uncle, is known as the Sugar Cane Baron, and the title suits him. Not only is he very wealthy, but he’s extremely autocratic as well. When he sees that Whitney is a pretty young girl, instead of the middle-aged spinster he’d envisioned—having hired her sight unseen—he accuses her of being a fortune hunter!

But although Max and Whitney have their difficult moments, neither one can deny the strong attraction between them. And then, at the worst possible moment, Max’s old flame appears on the scene, ready to spoil everything!
