Quarry Mystery, The

A buried fossil, a birthday party and… a murder?

June, 1913. Lady Hardcastle and her intrepid lady’s maid, Florence, are looking forward to attending wealthy quarry owner Josiah McRory’s seventy-fifth birthday celebration. But the festivities come to an abrupt end when Josiah is found dead beside an ornamental fountain.

When his eldest son is discovered dead at the quarry days later, it’s clear something sinister is afoot. An important dinosaur fossil has just been uncovered too – is there a link? As Lady Hardcastle and Flo investigate the McRory family, they uncover missing dynamite, sibling rivalries and decades of guilt.

With six children in the McRory family, each with their own agenda, and a quarry that seems to hold more secrets than fossils, the sleuthing duo face one of their most complex cases yet. Can they piece it all together before the killer strikes again?
